Every story starts somewhere.
Long before there was a production company, there were microphones, speakers, stages, cameras, and long nights spent creating experiences for audiences. There were packed dance floors, live events, music videos, community broadcasts, and countless hours spent learning how people connect through sound, storytelling, and shared experiences.
The tools have changed over the years, but the purpose has remained remarkably consistent.
For nearly two decades, founder Patrick Wyllie built businesses around entertainment, production, media, and storytelling. What started in live sound and event production evolved into filmmaking, broadcasting, and content creation. Along the way came opportunities to work with artists, small businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, and entrepreneurs, each with their own story to tell.
Those experiences revealed an important truth.
People don't connect with businesses because of products alone. They connect with people. They connect with purpose. They connect with stories that help them understand what someone believes and why their work matters.
That realization became the foundation for Wyld Road.
The name itself reflects a belief that the most meaningful stories are often found outside of predictable paths. Sometimes they are discovered in familiar places. Sometimes they are found hundreds of miles from home. Sometimes they emerge in conversations, traditions, communities, and cultures that would otherwise go unnoticed.
Curiosity has always been part of the process.
The road has led through concert venues, local businesses, sports broadcasts, nonprofit initiatives, creative projects, and communities across New England. It has also created opportunities to travel, explore new places, meet new people, and gain a deeper appreciation for the stories that shape our world.
Those experiences continue to influence every project we take on today.
At Wyld Road, we believe storytelling is about more than documenting what happens. It is about understanding why it matters. The strongest films are built around people, purpose, and perspective. They reveal something honest about the subject and invite audiences to see the world through a different lens.
Whether we are working with a founder, an artist, a nonprofit, a destination, or a growing brand, the goal remains the same: uncover the story that already exists and tell it in a way that feels authentic, cinematic, and memorable.
This region has shaped our perspective, introduced us to remarkable people, and provided countless opportunities to practice our craft. It taught us the value of community, relationships, hard work, and local stories that deserve a larger audience.
But great stories rarely stay in one place.
They travel.
They connect people across industries, communities, and cultures. They inspire curiosity. They challenge assumptions. They remind us that meaningful work is happening everywhere, often in places we least expect.
That is why Wyld Road was never intended to be defined by geography alone.
Our roots are here, but our mindset is built around exploration.
We create films wherever the story calls—from local businesses and regional organizations to artists, destinations, and campaigns built to travel. Some projects happen close to home. Others take us somewhere entirely new. Both are equally valuable because great storytelling has never been about distance.
It has always been about discovery.
There are stories waiting to be uncovered in every town, every organization, every artist, and every community. Some are loud. Others are quiet. Some are familiar. Others are completely unexpected.
The job is simply to pay attention.
Because the best stories are rarely found by standing still.
They are found out on the road.
